Mr. Bilal Zafar, with a graduate degree in Economic Science from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and a graduate degree in Business IT from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia acts as Advisor on Technology and Innovations. He also holds a diploma in telecommunication (IBM Institute) and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (Cambridge University). He has previously served as faculty member of the Informatics Institute in Islamabad. Having pursued a career in Reinsurance, he holds the designation of Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Institute of Insurance, UK. He has a good work experience in Pakistan, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Ms. Nyghat Siddique serving as Country Head – Operations in Libya and Tunisia with Gender Concerns International and a coordinator for MENA Region. She has over fifteen years of experience in public sector as well as international development organizations both in development and policy areas as well as emergency projects both in the national as well as international development Agencies. She has done LLM in Law and Development from Melbourne Law School – Australia and has a Masters in Gender and Development Studies. She has served as Director General with Ministry of Women Development and as Gender adviser with NDMA and Election Commission of Pakistan. She has also worked with UN Agencies on Women empowerment in Pakistan.
Dr. Mohammad Anwar Butt holds a Master Degree in Social Sciences and a PhD (in Community Development) from Gerhard-Mercator-University, Duisburg, Germany, where he taught Social Work and Community Education for 5 years before joining National Reconstruction Bureau, Government of Pakistan as a technical advisor in 2001. He later worked as a consultant to UNDP and INGOs at Islamabad. Dr. Mohammad Anwar Butt is an accomplished professional in the fields of governance, social development, education and research with 18 years of experience at home and abroad. His special expertise is in community mobilization, capacity & institution development, participatory planning & development, governance reforms, research and activation of citizen entitlement mechanisms through effective involvement of civil society groups and communities.
Dr. Fazal Ahmed with 32 years of consulting experience, started his career as Program Assistant with the USAID Karachi, Promoted as Project Management Specialist at Quetta and acted as Principal Administrative Officer at Quetta for the US Embassy Islamabad. He Representing USAID, he has been engaged with the multi-million dollars project of ‘Primary Education Directorate’ in Balochistan. Dr Fazal has a good mix of managerial expertise and school education in Balochistan. He is PhD in Literature from Karachi University and has expertise in Primary School Curriculum & Textbooks development. Dr. Fazal has been bestowed with the UNICEF award for his education services.
Mr. Farhan-ul-Haq Faisal Hashmi is a Certified Financial Consultant with wide experience of managing funds and accounts of various projects. He worked as Manager (Finance & Accounts) in Capital Development Authority, Islamabad where he acted as an Expert (Financial Analyst) to advise Finance Wing and Member Finance of the Board of Capital Development Authority on various investing, procurement and fund management issues. He is an expert on launching field surveys and providing household solutions to small and medium enterprises in Pakistan. He is good at financial management and development sector application of financial controls. Has a good sense of development administration and works as volunteer with a number of non-governmental organizations.
Ms. Sadiya Qureshi has 18 years of experience in the fields of training & development, human resource management, project management and GIS (Geographic Information System) to her credit. She has a good command on GIS Planning using ArcMap 10 and GoogleEarth. She holds a degree of Master in Computer Science. She has worked as Senior Manager, GIS in Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and maintained GIS system for PTCL Technical Planning Department. She has facilitated “T&D – Functional & Operational Restructuring Project” of Etisalat Academy, Dubai-UAE. She has also worked as HR Assistant at American Islamic Academy – New Jersey (USA).
Mr. Fazal Haq Kakar holds a Masters degree in Agronomy from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Mr. Kakar has wide experience of regional / rural development, poverty alleviation, gender reforms, strategic planning, policy and institutional reform, capacity building, decentralization, protected area management, enterprise development, monitoring and evaluation. He worked as Provincial Director of the Area Development Program, UNDP, Balochistan. He also worked Provincial Director (Support to Devolution Reforms in Balochistan) on the penal of UNDP to manage the project resources (US$ 4.7 million). He is good at resource mobilization, community relationship and field surveys.
